SNAP Topper's Life At SIBM Pune | Strategy To Crack SNAP With 99%ile | SIBM Pune Vlog

Alright, hi everyone, welcome on board. We're at SIBM Pune, and these are some of the students, boys and girls. Hello! Alright, so many of you here. Tell me your CAT percentiles first.

86, 96, 88, 88, 87, 87, yes, 96. Oh wow, 96. 87, 91, 91, 94, 94, 81.

The first learning is: if your CAT goes badly, it doesn't mean SNAP isn't standing there with its doors open for you. Work harder in the month of December. You're going to be here.

Were the CATKing mocks well-trended? Helpful? Definitely. But were they equal to SNAP? More or less, almost on the same level. Who gave them? You gave them? How was it? Definitely very helpful. Very helpful. Very helpful. Quite helpful.

Nice. And you're doing Innovation & Entrepreneurship here, right? By the way, there's another course here, Innovation. Today we'll quickly talk about life at SIBM Pune. Are you enjoying it here? Life is good. Okay, a little bit. Is it a hilltop? Heaven. Which hilltop? Where's heaven? We're already on the hilltop. I know, I know. But I've heard that clouds and mist come in. Does that really happen? Yes.

So, let's talk about SNAP preparation. SNAP is around the corner and we'll also talk about life at SIBM. Are you all above 99 percentile? Definitely 99. I know that much, but we're not allowed to say. They don't disclose personal details. The fun ones tell. So what's the deal, why don't they share? Sir, there's no bias. Once we're at SIBM Pune, we're all equals.

Very good. But that's for sure 99 percentile plus: 99.9, 99, 99.9. Very good. So if you want to come to SIBM, you should score 99 percentile plus, and the target score should be 40 plus to start with. Yes, to start with, 40 plus. Last year... you're a senior, in your time it was 42, 43, 42, 43. So it depends on the exam, for sure. We'll talk about the paper pattern later.

Let's talk about life. What are the fun things you guys do here? What fun and mischief goes on here? First, there's council work. And the council has lots of games. Then there's our fest, Trans (Tansend). It's the biggest fest in Pune, and one of the best and biggest in India.

But that's a Bombay thing, man. Did you come and settle in a village? In Dadar, Central Bombay, a happening place? So we have a lot of places. We have Baner/Balewadi High Street. We have Koregaon Park. It gives me back the Bombay feels, right? Sir, we go there with our friends and party a bit there too. Just chilling, only chilling.

You're from Bombay too, right? Where do you stay in Bombay? I'm from Alibag. From Alibag, okay. Do people make fun of you, like "oh, you're from Alibag" type? Sometimes they do. There's this joke about Alibag. Never mind, great. But she's my junior. We spent two years of our lives together in the same place. That was four years at Sardar Patel. Great.

Okay, tell us a little about your profile, and your name. An engineer? Hmm. Muskan. Muskan, which college? NIT Hamirpur. Good, so you're our junior. I'm from Surathkal. Surathkal, they give us a ring. I still wear that ring. NIT Surathkal, yes, great.

I'm Manasa, an Electronics and Communication engineer from Andhra Pradesh. Excellent. I'm Sakshi Gawle, a literature graduate from Mumbai University. Very good, great. Gayatri, from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, B.Tech in Mechanical. Excellent.

I'm Rohan, I've done my Bachelor of Commerce from HR College. Superb, great. Saumya Singh, and I come from an academically diverse background, I did BSc Honours in Zoology in my graduation. And I'm the boss of everyone here. Yes, what do you call yourselves, convener, coordinator? Coordinator. Nice.

Hi everyone, I'm Durgesh, I'm a civil engineer from Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology. Very good, great. Hello everyone, I'm Shiksha Maheshwari and I've done my BBA from JD Birla Institute, Department of Management, Kolkata. Very good, great.

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program

Let's talk about the fun side. Something happened recently, an event, your startup stuff and so on? This "startup" thing is a buzzword here. There's a course called Innovation & Entrepreneurship, which people get at a slightly lower percentile compared to the other courses. Around 96 percentile.

Is it genuinely worth it, or is it some fake course? Some people say it's a backdoor entry into SIBM and so on. People who have startups can definitely come here. Because recently there was a Grand Pitch... and yes, there were investors.

So did they hand out any money to these people? Yes sir, in total they bagged around 5.7 crore. Seriously? Yes sir. That's amazing. So it's a good course. Yes sir. And one of them, we can say his name, Akshit bhaiji, he has a clothing brand, and he himself got 3 crore out of the whole thing. It's genuinely... yes. Great.

So Innovation & Entrepreneurship is for people who are working on startups. It's not a course for people who come looking for a job. No sir. Very good, great. And what's your specialization, what are you going to do? Marketing. Marketing, marketing, marketing.

Placements & Summer Internships

By the way, these folks already have their internships (SIP) placed, and when you hear the companies you'll go crazy. And I always see, if you guys remember, I'd run SNAP as a guest exam on my channel, one hour, go crack it quickly. Where are you all placed?

Colgate-Palmolive. Very good industry, lovely. Bharti Airtel. Airtel. ITC. ITC. Aditya Birla Fashion. Aditya Birla Fashion. Johnson & Johnson. Johnson & Johnson. Pidilite again. Pidilite again. ABG (Aditya Birla Group).

Oh my goodness. Summer internship. And the summer internship average, I heard, what's going on right now, two and a half lakh, 3 lakh? The median is 3.1 lakh. 3.1 lakh for 2 months. Yes, for 2 months. Are you killing me? Seriously? What the hell?

So you give one examination for one hour, go and sit through it, then after that crack the GD-PI process while you're sitting inside, and when you join the college, within 3 months, a summer internship. Others? For five months? Four months? Four months, yes.

You joined recently, your first year must be going on now. So you guys joined in June–July, and now it's October, right? And you guys are already placed for summer internships. What? This is so cool. Great, man.

SNAP Preparation Tips

Any parting thoughts you want to tell all the people preparing for SNAP right now? Is SIBM fun or not? How are you, brother? Fine. Do you know me? Yes sir. I'd also joined... when my SNAP result came, I was in the final when you were doing the calculation. Oh nice. Yes sir, I would say...

(Advice) Just a message for those who are studying and appearing for SNAP now: there's tension, but at this time the most important thing is that you stay chill, keep revising your basics, and make sure you're solving the easy ones, hitting the easy targets first. The easy ones, finish them quickly, one after another. And ABC approaches.

Very good. And will my funda (tricks) come in useful or not? Yes sir, it's because of you that I finally cracked SNAP. Oh, my dear. Any parting thoughts you want to tell everyone listening to us? These people are giving SNAP now. Stay calm, stay hydrated, study well.

What's this hydrated thing, brother? Are you following the 75 Hard challenge, where he says "drink water"? No sir, people under stress don't eat or drink. Of course, drink water. Good. Do the mocks well. Don't get disheartened seeing low marks. Keep doing them, it will happen.

Very good, very good. Give some new tip, something they wouldn't have heard. Back your strength and do not get stuck on any question. Don't stop even on one question. By the way, SNAP is not a difficult exam.

Motivation

You need a beautiful life like this inside this campus. This is their iconic SIBM wall. Come and stand here and imagine, manifest yourself. But all they did was prepare really hard, right? Definitely.

And again, not to demean these guys, but even if you screw up your CAT, there's a beautiful exam called SNAP, just to kill it, right? Even if you didn't screw up, you can still come here through SNAP. These two didn't screw up, meaning 96, 97 is good first. Yes. Don't be too hard on yourself, but work hard. Okay, good. Believe in yourself. Thank you. Stay motivated and work as hard as possible. Chill, but with dedication.

Hey, this guy is right. Yes brother. You will get into your dream college. That's so amazing. All boys and girls, signing off. Tell them, like, share, whatever, like, share, subscribe to the channel, please.

This was very helpful. All boys and girls having so much fun. Please, you should be on this side of the table. Signing off from SIBM Pune. Work hard, and if all goes well, brother, you'll be here too.

Brother, are you a role model now? You've reached here, summer internship secured. He used to say on the yellow slide, SIP average package, this average package... Aditya Birla Group standing here. ABG standing here. Boys and girls, be here. Work out for SNAP.

Thank you so much. Like the video, tell us in the comments below. I'm going to be on this side soon. Thank you so much. Bye-bye, take care. Say bye, man.
